Therefore, it is seriously restricted to carry out inspections of power transmission, distribution lines and towers through drones. There is an urgent need to use relevant information and communication technologies to solve the problems encountered in carrying out drone inspections .

In order to solve the problem of insufficient control and image transmission distance caused by signal obstruction , the "UAV + signal relay" method is adopted, which can effectively enhance the communication transmission distance. The effective communication distance of operating UAV and relay UAV can reach More than 15 kilometers.

The entire system consists of three parts: operating drone, relay drone and ground terminal:

Operation drone terminal:

Operation drone: Considering the power supply and battery life of the aircraft, use DJI M300 or M350.

Airborne converged terminal: uses WD5000, supports PSDK/OSDK interface, supports GE port, and the whole machine weighs about 140 grams.

Relay equipment: power consumption is no more than 30W, external power supply (15~36V), weight is about 400 grams (including antenna), maximum transmission distance is more than 15 kilometers.

Relay drone terminal:

Relay UAV: Considering the power supply and battery life of the aircraft, DJI M300 or M350 is used.

user terminal:

Middleware: Communicates with the airborne fusion terminal to achieve unified scheduling and image transmission, and provides a calling interface for the remote control or business platform. The middleware software is deployed on the airborne fusion terminal to run .

Business platform: Customer-customized business platform.

Remote control: A customized APP is required to call the middleware interface to realize drone control and image transmission.
